Meet Our Team
Kateri Smith M.A. is a graduate of the Institute of American Indian Arts. Her focus is on rural and Native American history. Currently she is the collections and programming assistant at the Wheelwright Museum of The American Indian in Santa Fe, NM. She was the co-curator of the show “Creations: Where We Begin” during fall 2023 at the Balzer Contemporary Art Gallery at IAIA. She is also a partner in Costas Art Advising LLC, a collections management and art advising firm based in Santa Fe and Washington D.C.
A Bitzy Costas-Smith M.A. is a graduate of the Decorative Arts and Design History Master’s degree from George Washington University. They previously earned a B.F.A. in Printmaking from Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore Maryland. Their focus is on kitsch, novelty architecture, and tourist goods. They are currently pursuing an art appraisal certification.
They began Costas Art Collection Services in 2023 after several years providing art services as a sole-proprietor.
